I can’t stop my self from being excited because this is my favorite book! No kidding. Safe Haven tops my list of books because its story is indeed awesome breathtaking. Like what the description says, it is romantic thriller. The ending in the book is very intense, I was thinking, “What more on big screen?” LOL. This is the first time that I felt so I-want-to-watch-it-oh-so-badly thing. And when I say badly, I really mean it >:)))

I’m planning to read it again after my friend returns the book to me ❤ Just so you know, I already told my friend to save a day for Safe-Haven-movie-date (with her boyfie and another friend of ours) even though its showing is by next year. That’s how excited I really am. ❤

A simple message for You :)

I was supposed to finish a task tonight but I got tempted in blogging (as far as I can remember, I told myself that THIS won’t be a personal blog. Whatever me HAHA). Anyway. I would like to say a simple message, a message of gratitude to all my loved ones and how grateful I am having Him by my side 🙂

Dear God, Thank You for all the trials You’ve given me because I learned how to be strong. For all those disappointments because I realize that You indeed have wonderful plans for me. I am really glad that I trusted You because if I didn’t, I’d never be THIS happy.

Thank You for introducing me to superb friends. Friends who have helped me lead back to You and continue to strengthen my faith in You. Friends who appreciate my strengths. Friends who uplift me in times of weakness.

Thank You for such a great family (by blood) you’ve given me. Family who supports me in every step of the way. Family who helps me fortify my personality. Family who is always at my side.

Thank You for all my loved ones who love for who I am, my good and bad side.

And thank You for guiding my way to my workplace, my new family. I believe that I’ll be able to find more friends and great people there and treat them as a new family. I believe that I will grow there and be a person that You want me to be.

I am now on my 21st year of my life. True that I still long for some things (not material) but look where it’s bringing me – a curious me who’s willing to take more experience and challenges. True that I had regrets and a lot of problems but look where it led me – a better me 🙂

I really want to Thank You, Lord, for everything. Just listen to my heart in case I’ve missed something I forgot to tell You. I love You 🙂

Love, Your Child 🙂

New Books to Read

Hooray! Pampered my self with these 🙂

These three (To Kill a Mockingbird, Wuthering Heights, and It’s Not that Complicated) serve as my birthday gift for my self 🙂 I really wanted the The Time Keeper by Mitch Albom but it was out of my budget. So I opted to buy cheaper books (which I’ve always wanted) instead. There you go, three books for 500php 🙂 I would just save money for the The Time Keeper and hopefully purchase one on Christmas 😀

Meanwhile, Love in the Time of Cholera is  my gift to a friend 🙂 I told her that I won’t be having the annual birthday treat to all of them so I said that I’ll just give her an “incentive” after always being there for me ever since 🙂 Choosing a gift for her is very easy because she’s indeed a bookworm, but selecting a specific book was a bit hard. HAHA To make things short, I ended up buying this. I haven’t read it myself (even if I have a copy) so I’ll just let her have her own review about it 🙂

I started to follow on twitter a year ago the guy who’s courting my friend. Yes, they were happy and felt like they were the only ones in twitter world. But these past few days, it seems like they are having a misunderstanding. It looks like my friend has been busy with her work and the guy (maybe) feels that he’s the least priority. Honestly, I was infuriated with the way he reacted. I mean, as far as I know, they don’t have a commitment YET. The attention he seeks is way beyond the limits.

Seriously, I AM ANNOYED especially reading his blow-by-blow tweets indicating how my friend “rejects” (not really reject, I just can’t think of the right term) him etc. My friend is not the problem, it’s his. If he really is supportive towards my friend, he should be very understanding especially if this will help in developing my friend’s career. Not everything revolves around him. In my opinion, he’s way too obsessive with her. >_<

We are too young to tie up with the kind of “partnership” which married couples have (husband and wife are entitled to seek each other’s opinion, hence making a decision together). We are still young adults. We are supposed to explore the world and discover what we REALLY want in life. This is the chapter wherein we determine who we REALLY are.

I’m not saying not to enter a relationship while finding out more of yourself, it’s just, the partner must understand the phase you are in and support you in every step of the way. This change (especially to fresh grads) is very challenging. It may take some time but, surely someday, it’s worth the effort.

Forgive me. I’m really irritated >_<
